Medium Monday #13: Consensus 2024

Consensus was a hit.

We went in with one goal in mind — to tell as many people, projects, and any person off the street who would listen about SilverSwap. The time spent was fantastic. We made so many great connections with service providers, marketers, VCs, enthusiasts, and especially the Fantom Foundation itself.

The work at Consensus 2024 has laid the groundwork as well as the vibe for what is to come the rest of the year: we show up for this project. We will do everything we can to ensure our users, listed projects, and investors succeed. We spoke endlessly on our dedication to product excellence, care for our customers, and what it means to be the first REAL premium DEX in DeFi.

It’s impossible to talk about our time at Consensus without discussing our CTO. His passion to make SilverSwap the single greatest project on Fantom is unignorable. He is fully focused on ensuring every detail, every button, and every interaction is always improving so that it is the best it can possibly be. His vision for what the SilverSwap will be is paramount to the success of the who business.

Speaking of business, that is the angle and approach I took while doing my work at Consensus. I wanted everyone I spoke with to understand that SilverSwap is not just a DEX, or another Uniswap clone. It is going to be the central hub of and heart-beat of Fantom, and ideally any other network we deploy on. I bring the approach that everyone from the user, to projects, to the yield farmer can benefit by the DEX market having some major upgrades centered around classic business strategies.

These different view points and focus areas are what make SilverSwap so unique. Each one of our team members bring an important and unique way of seeing the world and our industry so that we can best mold our business to be successful. We made that clear above all at Consensus — That the future is Silver!
